Overview

We’re thrilled to be partnering exclusively with a values-led organisation based just outside of Towcester to recruit a Management Accountant. Reporting to the Finance Director, you’ll take ownership of the monthly management accounts and play a key role in driving ongoing process improvements. You’ll also support and mentor one team member, helping them develop and thrive.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys being hands-on, values collaboration, and wants to be part of something with real purpose.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare accurate and timely monthly management accounts with insightful commentary
  • Partner with budget holders to provide financial guidance and support
  • Lead budgeting and forecasting cycles with clarity and consistency
  • Identify and implement process improvements across financial operations
  • Support strategic financial planning and cashflow forecasting with the Finance Director
  • Mentor and develop one direct report, supporting their learning and growth
  • Assist with audit preparation and year-end reporting

The Candidate

You’ll be ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified or QBE with strong management accounting experience. You’ll enjoy mentoring and developing others and take pride in helping people grow. Naturally curious and solutions-focused, you’re always looking for ways to improve systems and processes. You’ll bring a confident, collaborative approach and feel comfortable communicating across the business. Experience within a not-for-profit environment would be a bonus, but most importantly, you care about making a difference and want to be part of an organisation that shares your values.

This role offers more than just a job – it’s a chance to be part of a team that genuinely cares, in an organisation making a difference. You’ll be joining a collaborative, professional environment where people are valued and supported to succeed.

If this sounds like the kind of opportunity you’ve been waiting for, we’d love to hear from you. Contact Debbie Burbage Recruitment for a confidential conversation.
