Overview

Are you an organised and detail-oriented administrator with experience in supply chain coordination? Our client, a well-established business in Kettering, is seeking a Supply Chain Coordinator to join their team on a permanent basis. This role offers a dynamic opportunity to manage order processing, liaise with customers and third-party logistics providers (3PLs), and ensure smooth supply chain operations. Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary point of contact for customers, providing timely updates, responding to enquiries, and ensuring a high standard of service throughout the order lifecycle.
  • Coordinate daily activities with warehouse and third-party logistics partners.
  • Analyse and resolve operational issues relating to deliveries, implementing corrective actions and processing credits where appropriate.
  • Ensure customer orders are accurately entered, validated, and monitored through to successful completion using both electronic and manual order processing methods.
  • Support financial processes by producing accurate customer invoices and investigating any billing discrepancies to a successful resolution.
  • Compile and analyse stock data at month end, completing reconciliations and recording inventory adjustments to maintain accurate records.
  • Produce operational reports and performance data to meet contractual obligations and support business review meetings.

Experience and Skill Requirements

  • Good literacy and numeracy skills (equivalent to GCSE 5+in English and Maths)
  • Working knowledge in basic use of MS Office
  • Relevant experience of a similar role covering most of the same areas
  • Have worked with accounting software, preferably QuickBooks, Xero, and Sage
  • Experience of using MS Excel in an Operations role
  • Proactive

Remuneration

  • Salary: Up to £25,200 per annum depending on experience
  • Hours: Full Time – Monday to Friday – hybrid working (1 day a week)
  • Holidays: 23 days plus statutory days  (can buy and sell holiday)
  • Other Benefits: other additional benefits

Based in Kettering, this role is within a commutable distance of Northampton, Rushden, Wellingborough, Market Harborough and Corby.
