Debbie Burbage Recruitment is pleased to offer this exclusive opportunity for a Finance Manager to join a dynamic team in Milton Keynes. This role reports directly to the Finance Director and is a critical position for ensuring the company’s financial health and operational success. It is ideal for a finance professional who is ready to take on the responsibility of managing financial operations for a business with an approximate turnover of £8 million.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the day-to-day financial operations within the company, including payroll, invoicing, and other transactions.
  • Lead a team of three finance assistants, fostering an environment of growth and development.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and analysis.
  • Work closely with the Finance Director to develop budgets, financial strategies, and plans for the company.
  • Manage company ledgers and work closely with auditors to ensure proper compliance with all regulations.
  • Develop systems to manage company’s financial operations efficiently, including creating and implementing financial policies and procedures.


  • Proven experience as a Finance Manager or similar role.
  • Strong understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles.
  • Working knowledge of all statutory legislation and regulations.
  • Professional qualification such as CIMA, ACCA or similar will be considered a plus.
  • Excellent organisational and leadership skills.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
