We’re delighted to be supporting a well-established client based in Wellingborough in their search for a Credit Controller. This is a great opportunity to join a supportive and friendly finance team in a role that offers variety and the chance to make a real impact.

The Role

Reporting to the Financial Controller. Duties include:

  • Chasing outstanding payments by phone and email
  • Supplying copy invoices to customers when required
  • Investigating and resolving customer queries
  • Producing daily reports using Excel, including VLOOKUP and HLOOKUP functions to support accurate financial tracking and decision-making
  • Assisting with general finance administration tasks

The Candidate

The ideal candidate will be someone with a genuine interest in finance and administration. You’ll be organised, have a good eye for detail, and enjoy working in a structured and proactive way. Strong communication skills are essential, as you’ll be liaising with customers and colleagues to resolve queries efficiently and professionally. While previous experience in a finance or credit control environment would be helpful, it’s not essential; what’s more important is a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.


Remuneration 

Salary: £24,000 – £27,000 per annum depending on experience

Hours: 8:30am – 5:00pm – Monday to Friday (1 hour lunch) – Office based

Holidays: 25 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays
