Senior Management Accountant / Finance Manager / Financial Controller

ABOUT ME

I am an experienced Management Accountant with over two decades of progressive financial responsibility across multi site operations. My background began in audit before moving into commercial finance, where I have supported senior leadership teams with accurate reporting, clear financial insight and practical guidance to improve performance.

I am accustomed to producing timely and detailed monthly management accounts, managing balance sheet integrity and ensuring compliance across VAT, payroll and statutory requirements. Alongside strong technical capability, I bring a hands on and organised approach, combined with a genuine commitment to supporting the wider business.

Having managed small finance teams and worked closely with operational leaders, I understand the importance of clear communication, reliable data and strong financial controls in driving sustainable success.

LOOKING FOR

I am seeking a Senior Management Accountant, Financial Controller or Finance Manager position within Northamptonshire or surrounding areas, with a salary expectation of circa £55,000 per annum.

I am keen to join a forward thinking organisation where I can add value through strong financial management, support decision making at senior level and contribute to continued growth and operational improvement.

Accuracy, accountability and consistency are central to how I work. I believe finance should provide clarity and confidence to business leaders, enabling informed decisions and proactive planning.

INTERESTS

I enjoy working on process improvements that strengthen controls and improve cash flow. Implementing better reporting structures and identifying key performance indicators that truly reflect business performance are areas I find particularly rewarding.

Outside of work, I enjoy a range of sports and outdoor activities, which reflect my belief in discipline, teamwork and maintaining a balanced approach to life.
