AAT qualified (Levels 2 & 3) with ACCA Foundation level, Helena is an honest and committed finance professional with strong accounting knowledge and extensive experience in the hospitality sector. Highly accurate, systematic, and dependable, she has a proven ability to support finance functions, deliver accurate management accounts, and work closely with operational teams. She is motivated by making a difference and enjoys contributing to both the technical and commercial sides of finance.

An Assistant Accountant or Assistant Finance Manager role where she can continue to build on her technical skills and sector experience. Keen to support a finance team in the preparation of accounts, reconciliations, and reporting, while developing further in a professional environment.

SKILLS

• Strong accounting knowledge with experience from bookkeeping through to management accounts.
• Skilled in reconciliations, journals, accruals, prepayments, and cashflow support.
• Experience with VAT and MGD returns, and assisting with audit preparation.
• Supported system migrations (Sage 200 to Xero) and improved finance processes.
• Proficient in Sage 200, Xero, Excel, and Pleo.
• Excellent communicator, reliable, and a strong team player.

WORKING PREFERENCES

• Available 1 weeks notice.
• Salary expectation: circa £35,000 per annum.
• Seeking an Assistant Accountant or Assistant Finance Manager role where she can contribute her technical skills while continuing to develop her career.
