ABOUT ME

I am an accounting professional with several years of experience across practice-based roles, supporting a wide range of clients with financial reporting, statutory accounts, and tax compliance. I have a strong grounding in core accounting principles, including month-end processes, journal preparation, and financial statement production. I take pride in being reliable, detail-focused, and able to manage a busy workload while maintaining accuracy. I also enjoy supporting and guiding junior colleagues as part of a team environment.

LOOKING FOR

I’m looking for an industry-based finance role where I can build on my practice experience and develop further within a commercial environment. I would like to be part of a team where I can contribute to financial reporting and process improvement while continuing to grow professionally.

SKILLS

• Experience in statutory accounts preparation (FRS 102 & FRS 105)
• Financial reporting and month-end processes
• Journal preparation including accruals and prepayments
• VAT preparation and compliance
• Corporate and personal tax preparation
• Payroll processing and reporting
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Service charge and client account reviews
• Experience working with HMRC queries and correspondence
• Training and supporting junior team members
• Strong understanding of accounting systems and software (e.g. CCH, Xero)
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills

WORKING PREFERENCES

Notice Period – Available Immediately

Salary Expectations – circa £32k – £35k Per Annum

I work well in structured environments where deadlines and accuracy are important. I enjoy working as part of a collaborative team but am also confident managing my own workload independently. I like roles that offer variety and the opportunity to be involved in both reporting and problem-solving aspects of finance.
