ABOUT ME
I am an accomplished finance professional with more than 15 years of experience spanning accounting, financial reporting, payroll, bookkeeping and finance management. AAT Level 4 qualified and currently studying towards CIMA, I have built my career by combining strong technical accounting knowledge with a proactive and commercially aware approach.
My experience ranges from managing the finance function within a growing business to supporting the reporting requirements of a multinational organisation with significant turnover. I enjoy working with financial data to provide meaningful insight, improve processes and support informed business decisions. Having worked closely with senior leadership teams throughout my career, I am confident communicating financial information to both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
LOOKING FOR
I am seeking a role where I can utilise my accounting expertise and analytical strengths within a forward-thinking organisation. I am particularly interested in opportunities that allow me to contribute beyond the numbers by identifying efficiencies, supporting strategic objectives and helping drive business performance.
A position that offers variety, autonomy and the opportunity to work closely with key stakeholders would be especially appealing, as I enjoy understanding the wider commercial impact of finance within an organisation.
IMPORTANT TO ME
I am passionate about delivering work that is both accurate and meaningful. Understanding the detail behind financial results and translating that information into valuable insight is something I find highly rewarding.
I appreciate working in organisations that encourage ownership, innovation and continuous improvement. Being able to challenge existing processes, introduce efficiencies and contribute positively to business success is just as important to me as maintaining strong financial controls and compliance.
INTERESTS
One of the aspects I enjoy most about finance is uncovering trends and patterns within data and using those findings to support better decision-making. I am naturally inquisitive and enjoy investigating issues, solving problems and finding practical solutions that add value.
I also enjoy supporting others and sharing knowledge, whether through mentoring junior colleagues or collaborating with teams across different departments. Outside of work, I volunteer as Treasurer for a local school charity, helping oversee finances and ensuring funds are managed effectively to support educational initiatives.
