Chartered Certified Accountant (ACCA, first-time passes) with extensive experience in financial leadership across both service and manufacturing industries. Practice-trained and commercially astute, Louise has a proven track record of strengthening financial control, streamlining processes, and building high-performing teams. Having operated successfully at Finance Director level, she is now seeking to step back into a part-time Financial Controller role where she can focus on delivery, technical expertise, and supporting business performance.

A part-time Financial Controller position (circa 3 days per week) where she can use her strong technical, commercial, and leadership skills. Keen to contribute to financial control, reporting, and compliance, while supporting wider business strategy without the broader pressures of FD-level responsibility.

Financial Management: Statutory accounts, audits, budgeting, cashflow, tax compliance, credit control, and payroll oversight.
Systems & Process Improvement: Strong IT skills (advanced Excel, Oracle, Sage, Sun, bespoke databases), upgrading finance and HR systems, automating reporting.
Commercial Acumen: Supporting business growth, assessing opportunities, integrating acquisitions, and driving cost savings.
Governance: Established financial controls, internal audit functions, and strengthened compliance.
WORKING PREFERENCES
- Available September 2025
- Salary expectation: circa £72,000 per annum pro-rata.
