Overview

Our client, a well-established business in Kettering, is seeking a Supply Chain Analyst to join their team on a permanent basis. This role offers a dynamic opportunity to provide weekly manufacturing schedule recommendations to a designated client portfolio, secure agreement on upcoming production plans, and ensure timely execution of the agreed schedules. Key Responsibilities

  • Place purchase orders with manufacturers and suppliers.
  • Manage inbound deliveries: receive goods, create GRNs, match and approve invoices.
  • Act as the main contact for the warehouse.
  • Carry out post-production stock checks.
  • Set up new products in the system, including bills of materials and warehouse coordination.
  • Organise inbound transport by liaising with hauliers and suppliers.
  • Keep purchase pricing up to date in the system.
  • Handle and resolve any issues related to production, delivery, invoicing, product quality, or timing within the inbound supply chain.
  • Manage product-related customer service queries in coordination with manufacturers.
  • Process and support complex orders, including export requirements.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and suppliers, including providing performance feedback.
  • Keep internal processes documented, up to date, and communicate changes to the right people.
  • Prepare weekly reports.
  • Complete month-end stock reconciliations and make necessary adjustments.
  • Support the wider team as needed.

Experience and Skill Requirements

  • Good literacy and numeracy skills (equivalent to GCSE 5+in English and Maths)
  • Experience of using MS Excel in an Operations role.
  • Experience working in an administrative Operations role.
  • Relevant experience of a similar role covering most of the same areas
  • Proficient in the use of inventory and accounting software, preferably SOS, Unleashed, QuickBooks, Xero, and Sage and business central
  • Proficient in using MS Excel
  • Proactive
  • Good at building supplier relationships

Remuneration 

  • Salary: Up to £28,000 per annum depending on experience
  • Hours: Monday to Friday (37.5 hours per week) – Future potential hybrid working
  • Holidays: 23 days plus statutory days  (can buy and sell holiday)
