Overview

We are working with a local company looking to recruit a supply chain planner. In this busy role your duties will include:

  • Manage and maintain accurately and timely all planning documents including (procurement plan, rolling stock, QSL)
  • Forecasting and demand planning, tracking sales, stock usage, rotation and reconciliation and monthly stock counts
  • Plan and track ETA of incoming product, communication of issues, investigation of discrepancies, impact on availability, or out of code rework.
  • Rejection and shortage management, and investigation to conclusion. Ensure returned stock is managed through the system, arrange Returns to suppliers, investigates unknown shortages with Facility and Logistics team.
  • Leads the weekly forecast and stock meeting with a three-week outlook. Highlighting short- and medium-term risks to availability.
  • Stock and waste (LRP) reconciliation in conjunction with Product Manager.
  • Place orders with buyer / supplier’s and country offices.
  • Checking Loading documents and Departure board to ensure what is loaded is what was ordered and is loading as expected in line with ETA and customer specification
  • Manage and liaise with UK and European Logistics teams to ensure arrivals are cleared and available for delivery.
  • Managing stock transfers between sites, 3rd party sales stock, and international transfers between UK and Ireland

Key responsibilities:

  • Managing all elements of planning in relation to their products in both the UK and Ireland
  • Managing the communication and liaison with depots around packing requirements, packaging, and stock.
  • Responsible for all things stock related, usage, rotation, and residency and the investigation of discrepancies, and reconciliation

This position is based in Towcester and is within commutable distance of, Northampton, Milton Keynes, Daventry, Brackley, Buckingham and Banbury
