Debbie Burbage Recruitment is exclusively partnering with our client based in Milton Keynes to seek a dedicated and detail-oriented Polish Speaking Assistant Accountant to join their finance team. The successful candidate will assist the Financial Controller with various accounting duties, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting. This role requires fluency in Polish, as it involves handling Polish purchase invoices and supplier payments. The Assistant Accountant will play a crucial role in the preparation of financial statements and support various financial operations within the Polish subsidiary.
Reporting to the UK-based Financial Controller, duties include:
The ideal candidate will be fluent in both Polish and English, with proficiency in written and spoken communication. They will be either AAT qualified or part qualified in CIMA/ACCA, demonstrating a solid foundation in accounting principles. The candidate will have previous experience in an accounting role, ideally with exposure to Polish financial regulations. Proficiency in various accounting software and MS Office applications, especially Excel, is essential. They will possess strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills. Additionally, the candidate will be capable of working independently and as part of a team, supported by strong communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Salary: £30,000 -£40,000 per annum, depending on experience

Hours: 8 am – 4:30 pm (Mon – Thurs), 8am – 2pm finish on Fridays – (37.5 hours pw)
