We are working with an established and rapidly growing Northampton business at an exciting time of expansion, operating across the Midlands serving Northamptonshire, Leicestershire, Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Cambridgeshire and Norfolk.
The organisation are looking to recruit an experienced Purchase and Sales Ledger Supervisor. This is an excellent opportunity to join a friendly but fast paced and professional organisation, with the opportunity to manage a small team within the company.
Working within a busy finance team your main responsibilities will be but not limited to:
- Sales invoice processing
- Point of Sale reconciliation
- Credit card reconciliation
- Credit control
- Purchase invoice processing
- Liaising with suppliers/customers regarding discrepancies
- Liaising with colleagues regarding invoice approval and discrepancies
- Following up on above, requesting credit notes, copy invoices etc to ensure timely processing of invoices
The ideal candidate will have purchase ledger and sales ledger experience, be a team player with excellent attention to detail, strong numeracy and literacy skills, has a real drive and determination to succeed, excellent communication and interpersonal skills as you will be supervising a team.
The role is based in Northampton, but within a commutable distance of Market Harborough, Kettering, Wellingborough, Towcester.
