Overview

Leading independent Northampton Accountancy Firm requires a Business Development Finance Manager to join the organisation in this newly created role and lead the Client Management Accounts team.

This is a fabulous opportunity to be part of a professional, personable, customer focused team.  Duties will include:

  • Developing and growing the firm’s online accounting service
  • Managing the team, reviewing their work and assisting with their development
  • Reporting directly to partners on the team and assignments
  • Client liaison and relationship development

Helping the team deliver the following to clients:

  • Software migration to cloud based systems
  • Training on accounting software and apps
  • Design and implementation of accounting systems

Candidate Requirements:

  • ACA or ACCA qualified
  • 5 years accounting experience including at least 2 years in practice

Solid all-round experience in the following areas:

  • maintaining accounting records for a range of businesses
  • using online accounting packages such as Xero and QuickBooks Online
  • using desktop accounting packages including Sage 50
  • supervision of staff

Salary negotiable dependant on experience

Good communication skills and experience in building and maintaining business relationships is essential as in being a team player with good organisational skills. Some experience of marketing and business development would be advantageous.
