Our client is a well-respected accountancy firm based in Northampton, with a strong work ethic and an excellent staff retention rate. Duties:

  • Support to the accounts team manager
  • Reviewing team member’s work, including involvement at planning and finalisation stages of assignments
  • Reporting to the accounts manager and directly to partners
  • Client liaison and relationship development
  • Managing junior members of the team assisting with their development

Requirements:

  • ACA or ACCA qualified
  • At least 2 years recent experience in practice
  • Solid all round experience in the following areas:
    • preparing accounts for incorporated entities
    • preparing accounts for sole traders, partnerships and other unincorporated entities
    • preparing Corporation Tax computations
    • preparing tax computations for unincorporated entities
  • Team player with good organisational and communication skills

Hours:            37.5 hours per week. Monday to Friday 9am to 5.30pm. A Flexi-Time arrangement is operated subject to core hours and client commitments

Holidays:        25 days plus statutory holidays per year
