An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Accounts Administrator to join a dynamic company based in Northampton. This full time, permanent position will suit someone who has experience of working within a busy accounts department and can prepare accounts up to trial balance.
Reporting directly to the Company Accountant the candidate will become involved with a variety of tasks but primary responsibilities will be:
- To manage all aspects of the purchase ledger
- To manage all aspects of the sales ledger
- To reconcile bank and credit card accounts
- Manage and report on daily cash flow
- Preparing and submitting VAT return
- Filing and general admin
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of working in a busy accounts department, be AAT qualified (or near completion) be computer literate, preferably with Sage Line 50 experience. Have good excel skills, excellent communication skills, the ability to work accurately and meet deadlines as well as possessing an outgoing and willing personality.
